Script creation rules for better audio productions

  • Phone number – prefix with “our phone number is” and do not put spaces in the number eg 0893687500. Full example “Our phone number is 0893687500”

  • Acronyms – no spaces and all caps eg ABC

  • Numbers – will be read as cardinal numbers unless you put spaces between each number eg 2400 will be read as “two thousand four hundred” and 2 4 0 0 “two four zero zero”

  • Email and URL – write it in full with spaces between words eg captivate or support@captivate

  • Date – always write the full date eg 27th of March 2024
