The Kingston District Council provides a safe and modern recreational boat launching facility in Cape Jaffa. Daily permits can be purchased at the boat ramp using an on site ticket machine with coin or card. Annual permits are available to purchase from the council office, the Kingston Foreshore Caravan Park or the Cape Jaffa Holiday Park. Accessibility of the facility is subject to weather and environmental conditions. When you are speaking to an operator, please ask if the facility is currently open.

Want to escape with a good book? The Kingston Library, located at the Kingston Community School, is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am – 11:30am on Saturday mornings. Opening times may vary during school holidays, so please ask one of our friendly staff. Waste Collection and Transfer services operate from The Kingston Waste Transfer station. Opening hours are 12pm – 4pm Sunday, Tuesday and Fridays. Pensioners receive a 10% discount on dumping fees. Please ask one of our friendly staff for the Waste Transfer Station fees.
If you require information regarding Council’s weekly domestic and commercial rubbish collection days, as well as the fortnightly recycling collection, please ask our staff when you come off hold. Further information regarding rubbish collection and recycling is also available on Council’s website: www.kingstondc.sa.gov.au.

Rates can be paid in person at the Council office between 8:30 am and 5 pm Monday – Friday, where EFTPOS facilities are available, or alternatively, you can pay your rates online at www.kingstondc.sa.gov.au/payrates or via Bpay. Council also offers Direct Debit for rate payments. When you come off hold please ask our staff for the details.
